"Enough is Enough" by Dr. T

I've always been a supporter of the President, but these days it's becoming more and more difficut to "go along". Recently, he's been out on the beat touting the need for a "guest worker" aka "amnesty" program for illegals. He tells us we must have "compassion" for after all, these are decent human beings. Sorry but I'm not buying what he's selling this time. Our laws and our sovereignty have been usurped, our safety and security have been jeopardized. Our jobs are diminishing and our social services, schools and medical facilities are broken. All of this on the backs of American citizens who pay taxes and follow the rules.

Immigration is necessary..it's what built this nation. But the immigration of today in no way resembles the immigration of generations past. Separatism has replaced nationalism and so goes the country..remember.."a house divided cannot stand".

Today is May 1st and millions of illegals and their supporters are rallying around the country. They're making demands, encouraging absence from school and work and the boycott of goods. Do they honestly think these actions will endear them to American citizens? These actions can only be perceived as threats and the outcome will not be pretty. This country will not survive if the illegal problem is allowed to continue. As far as I'm concerned the government is not protecting its citizens. National security should be at the top of the list and on 9/12 our borders should have been shored up. There simply is no excuse for the lack of will on the part of our "elected officials". It is blatantly transparent that these politicians are pandering for votes and that they will sell out the American people and yes, their own country, in order to sustain their power.
