Having done their duty by sufficiently destroying the greatest economy on the planet, the President's economic team has headed back to the serene and coddling ivy halls of academia; where they will again take up the baton and fill developing minds with the evils of capitalism.

In lockstep with them is the President's chief of staff, the ballet boy turned professional arm twister, Rahm Emanuel. In addition, the word is that soon Defense Secretary Robert Gates will join the long line of life vested appointees looking to jump the sinking ship. With astonishingly negative poll numbers for the Democrats, the administration is in overdrive. The President is back in campaign mode desperately trying to regain the fleeting adulation of his inauguration. But the mojo isn't working, the words ring more hollow than the first time around and folks are meting out a collective yawn. Our ever-eloquent Vice President has taken to chastising both the electorate and his own party, calling them whiners. Gee it's only 9.5% unemployment and the stimulus IS working...what are you complaining about?

With just about a month to go before what promises to be the biggest referendum of a sitting President and Congress, these final days will be a brutal battle between Democrat incumbents who cannot brag about policies and bills passed because of their blatant unpopularity and newcomer Republicans who must challenge the old guard establishment.

Hang on, it's gonna be a bumpy ride!

How Dare You! by Dr. T

There are times throughout history that appear so catastrophic one wonders if things could ever be righted. The United States is at a crossroads such as this right now. Every registered American voter should think of the following before entering the booth on November 2nd:

To the President and the Congress:

How dare you endeavor to destroy the greatest country on the planet because of your greed and hunger for power.

How dare you inflict punitive taxes, fees and regulations on a working class without whom you could not survive. Remember, the Federal Government does not generate money.

How dare you pass overreaching bills that the citizens do not want in order to control their lives and keep yourselves in power.

How dare you spend the country into bankruptcy through entitlements that are unsustainable.

How dare you refuse to protect our borders, which is your primary obligation, and then have the gall to sue the state of Arizona for enforcing the same law you ignore.

How dare you refer to hard working Americans who believe in liberty and the free market as "astro-turf."

How dare you look upon the citizens as serfs who work for the government? You have long forgotten that it's you who work for us!

How dare you saddle our children and grandchildren with a debt they can never repay in order to garner votes thus keeping you in power.

How dare you play favorites with our money, siphoning billions of taxpayer dollars to unions and special interests in order to buy their favor.

How dare you trample the Constitution, the Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence, using bits and pieces at will to serve your agenda and casually casting off the rest.

How dare you take over private enterprise under the guise of "reform" in an attempt to collapse our capitalist system.

How dare you take away our energy independence by shutting down oil drilling in the U.S.only to procure billions of taxpayer dollars which have been given to Brazil and Mexico for drilling operations.

All this and much much more has been done to the American people in less than two years. A grotesque and unbelievable power grab with an eye to global governance.

There is much work to be done in order to get our country back on track. November
2nd is our last best hope...think long and hard before you cast your ballot.
