Where are we going and why are we in this hand basket?

'Tis the season for uber-political correctness to rear its ugly head, again. If anyone had any misgivings about the cultural war over the CHRISTMAS season being over. Please look at this ridiculous website compliments of Yahoo. I wonder how many cultures and holidays we will have to be aware of next year? Perhaps the native islanders of Sao Tome' have their own festivities that happen to occur some time near the latter half of our calendar. Or, maybe I can create my own holiday and moan and complain until Sparky the Dog Day is honored throughout the U.S. with the same cultural weight as...Winter Solstice?!
