The NY Times today published a photo, above the fold, of three soldiers involved in a fire fight with Taliban fighters in Afghanistan. Quick question, are you kidding me? How many? I ask you. How many photos do you think that photojournalist captured while with that unit? And he, or his editors, actually chose that photo to publish in one of our world's most famous papers. (I did not say most read intentionly because we all know no one reads that rag anymore). The "old grey lady" is nothing if not a stalwart of the left - the whimpering, cowardly, blame-throwing left. So, another question. What was their intention? To portray our military in a postive light? To show our fightin' men battling and defeating terrorists? Or, to show an anecdotal glimpse of the reality of battle? Honestly... this writer believes that in some strange way the Times was actually trying to make a joke - some sick, dark cowardice-laden joke. They did nothing but further besmirch the threadbare reputation of our so-called 4th pillar. One word for you editors and "journalists" at the times - fleeting.
MC Note: To view the picture click: HERE ....don't click on the Times website. The less web traffic the better for them. HOOAH Spc. Boyd!
