Capitalizing on Disaster by Dr T

Dear Readers,
This article should have been posted back in June. I was very busy and didn't realize it was not posted. My sincere apologies.
Dr. T's Editor

So the President spoke from the Oval Office tonight and as expected used the bully pulpit to chastize us for our dependence on fossil fuel. He skirted the issue that his adminsitration denied foreign entities from coming to our immediate aide, that the adminsitration was late to the party , showing up a full month after the spill. Poor Bobby Jindal knew what he needed to preserve his state's precious shoreline but his pleas fell on deaf ears because environmental impact studies had to be done. Talk about the inmates running the asylum.

Now the President will use this BP disaster to push cap and trade, a punitive bill that will further strangle the US economically and cause a further loss of jobs. The President continues almost daily to play into my theory of organized chaos....

Funny how no one is talking about one very obvious fact. We are more than 50 days into this spill, with millions of gallons of oil flowing which ironically proves what many of us have known all along...we have enough of our own resources to keep us in crude for the next 200 years. The President lied this evening when he said our resources are dwindling. This unfortunate disaster has put the abundance of our natural resources at the fore. The fact is he and the current administration do not want any drilling and they are using this incident to push their agenda through. I believe in alternative energy - however, until we have mechanisms in place there should be no moratorium on drilling.

History Repeats by Dr T

Poor old Helen Thomas, forced to resign after an eternity at the Hearst News Service because of a hateful mouthing off against Jews. Had she only kept her tongue a few months longer, she may not have had to resign at all.

You see, history repeats itself...and we are currently witnessing a wave of anti-Semitism. Most of the world scolded Israel for its attack on the "peace-filled" (ahem) flotilla last week. Ah, Helen, you just needed to wait a tad longer. No matter that Hamas is running the show in Palestine, no matter that these flotillas are instruments of subterfuge, boasting payloads of food and clothing when in reality they are floating arsenals.

No matter that Israel is a sitting duck if Iran is allowed to continue sending arms to their enemies. And worst of all, our administration remains non-committal. A true slap in the face to a country that at one time was our closest ally.

Funny how history repeats....actually it's quite easy when true history isn't taught. There are those who would have you believe that our current economic situation is the result of capitalism run amok. That the only way to save us is through stateism. Why, the government needs to step in to save us from ourselves. To control the evil Jew bankers, the evil car companies, the insurance companies, heck, even the evil food industry. The real truth is that markets ebb and flow, just like the warming and cooling of the earth(global warming..another farce). The government, through intervention, upsets the natural correction that occurs when markets downturn. Had they minded their own business, we would have been out of the worst of this mess by now. And all the stimulus in the world hasn't corrected a thing. Billions of taxpayer dollars wasted and the only jobs created are in the public sector.

Wake up people...get a copy of "The Road to Serfdom"...educate yourselves before it's too late.

Organized Chaos by Dr.T

While the citizens of this once great nation watch the catastrophe unfolding in the Gulf, the President, the Administration and the Congress are doing "high fives" behind the scenes. The slower than a turtle response to the BP oil spill was deliberate and anyone with a brain larger than Joe Biden's can figure out why.

This spill, be it accidental or intentional (I know, I'm such a conspiracy theorist), plays right into the government's hands and ideology. This President made himself very clear back in the campaign days, when he said we have to wean ourselves off our dependence on fossil fuels. Now with this massive spill he will attempt to stop all off shore drilling. Whatever god he believes in must have been smiling on him on the day of the spill, thereby delivering to him the very ammunition necessary for him to make his case.

I am astounded that BP would not have a contingency plan in place for the possibility of a spill of this magnitude. And I clearly hold them responsible, but to shut down operations across the board will only deepen the dire economic situation in which we already find ourselves. Which goes straight to the theory of "organized chaos." Mr. Obama is a student of Marx and Alinsky...look up their teachings and you will find a step by step tutorial on how to break down a capitalist society and build up a socialist one. The ducks have been in a row since Obama took office, this is not by chance but by design...wake up, people, and connect the dots.

Our last best hope to preserve the American way of life, to preserve liberty and free markets happens in November...make it count for your children and grandchildren.
