You Want A Piece of Me? by Dr. T

Enough is enough...I'm drawing a line in the sand. I've had it with this Administration, this Congress, the RINOS and the propagandists in the tank for them. As each day passes, a little bit of America is chipped away and traditionalists like me, folks all over this nation who believe in the Constitution are reeling as we watch its destruction. Well, I'm here to tell you that I'm not going down without a fight.

If I had the means, I would publish the following in every newspapaer across the country:
#1. Citizens, are you aware that the capitalist way of life that has sustained us since the inception of the United States is being systematically decimated through excessive regulation and punitive taxes and fees? This attack on the free market is designed to cause a collapse that will enable the government to socialize our economy. It has already begun with the take-over of Chrysler, GM and the banks.

#2. Citizens, are you aware that if "cap and trade" and a "VAT" tax are passed hidden fees for all goods and services will be passed on to all Americans, increasing the cost of EVERYTHING? It will also be harder for companies to do business which will result in more lay-offs. The double whammy will futher destroy the middle class.

#3. Citizens, are you aware that if national health care is pushed through, your choices for physicans, your choices for if you will see a doctor and when, will all be decided by a government bureaucrat?

#4. Citizens, are you aware that hard working, successful, play-by-the-rules Americans will be manipulated into paying for big government programs designed to redistribute the wealth and guarantee a "one party system?"

#5. Citizens, are you aware that energy bills are in the works that will cost the average family an additional $1500.00 a year and that efforts are in the works to add higher taxes to gasoline, while no drilling for our own resources will be permitted?

When folks who understand what is happening behind the scenes speak out they are vilified. Case in point, Rush Limbaugh, who has been attacked daily for his analysis of current affairs. I for one will keep talking and writing about the radical changes taking place in our government. I challenge all like minded citizens to make their voices heard to preserve the liberties our forefathers labored to endow upon us.

Obama vs Cheney...No Contest by Dr. T

Funny how when former Presidents Carter and Clinton and former Vice President Gore traveled the world lambasting then sitting President George Bush, there was no outcry that they should be discouraged from speaking out. Yesterday, former Vice President Dick Cheney defended his administration’s enhanced interrogation tactics and in so doing was resoundingly criticized. Kudos to his daughter Liz for taking on the CNN hack, Anderson Cooper, who tried in every conceivable way to trip her up. She knew the policies and the law and made a strong case to the American people. Cooper was left twisting in the wind as he tried to tie water boarding to Abu Ghraib among other distortions. The bottom line is that President Obama is weakening our national security by pardon the pun, watering down our interrogation tactics. As Mr. Cheney explained, we used water boarding on three terrorists, one being Khalid Sheik Mohammed, the mastermind of 9/11. For seven and a half years we have been safe because of decisions made by the Bush administration. There are memos which clearly prove that valuable information was gleaned which saved thousands of American lives, yet President Obama refuses to de-classify them. If this President, who promised transparency, is to b e true to his word, he should release this information to the American public and allow them to decide. Instead he made a speech at the National Archives where he criticized the Bush adminsitration no less than 28 times and promised to do away with harsh interrogation tactics.

The President, ever beholden to the “left”, is still prepared to close Gitmo without a clear cut plan for where these haters will be housed though he seems to have no problem with the prospect of holding them somewhere within the United States. It’s a sad day when the safety and the will of the American people is compromised for political gain. We’ve only ourselves to blame if we do not express our concerns to our representatives. Too many people have forgotten the horror of 9/11, I have not and never will. We are at war with an enemy that can only be gleeful as it watches us fighting among ourselves, accusing each other of lying and for all intents leaving ourselves weak and vulnerable.

Hey NYTimes! Keep Doing What You're Doing....

The NY Times today published a photo, above the fold, of three soldiers involved in a fire fight with Taliban fighters in Afghanistan. Quick question, are you kidding me? How many? I ask you. How many photos do you think that photojournalist captured while with that unit? And he, or his editors, actually chose that photo to publish in one of our world's most famous papers. (I did not say most read intentionly because we all know no one reads that rag anymore). The "old grey lady" is nothing if not a stalwart of the left - the whimpering, cowardly, blame-throwing left. So, another question. What was their intention? To portray our military in a postive light? To show our fightin' men battling and defeating terrorists? Or, to show an anecdotal glimpse of the reality of battle? Honestly... this writer believes that in some strange way the Times was actually trying to make a joke - some sick, dark cowardice-laden joke. They did nothing but further besmirch the threadbare reputation of our so-called 4th pillar. One word for you editors and "journalists" at the times - fleeting.
